Privacy policy

This site (joblanstudio.com) belongs to Jonathan Blandón, a software developer in Medellín, Colombia. Here is what data I keep, what for, and how to ask me to delete it. The short version: I only keep what you type into the forms so I can tell you when I ship something, and nothing else.

1. What data I keep

  • In “Notify me”: your email, the app you picked and the platform (Android, iPhone or both). If you fill them in, also your name, your city and the note.
  • In the footer form: only your email.

The Meld and MyWallet websites have no form of their own: their waitlist button brings you to this same form, so this policy also covers those sign-ups.

2. What I use it for

Only to email you when the app you picked is out (or when I ship something new, if you chose “what's next” or used the footer form). Platform, city and note help me understand what you're interested in. I don't sell your data, I don't share it with anyone for advertising, and I don't use it for anything else.

3. Where it is stored

  • Resend (resend.com), the service I use to send emails: it stores your email, your name and the list of the app you picked.
  • Vercel (vercel.com), where this site is hosted: city, platform and note are not stored in a database; they only remain in the server logs, for as long as Vercel keeps them.

Both are US companies, so your data may be stored outside Colombia. Both process it on my behalf and only to provide their service.

4. Cookies and what's saved in your browser

  • One cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) that remembers whether you prefer the site in Spanish or English.
  • If you switch between light and dark theme, your choice is saved in your browser (localStorage) for your next visit. It never leaves your device.

I don't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and fonts are served from this same domain. Like any website, the server receives technical data from each visit (such as your IP address and browser) to show you the page and keep it safe; I don't use it to identify you or for statistics.

5. Your rights and how to unsubscribe

Every email I send includes a link to unsubscribe from that list. You can also write to me at any time to find out what data I have about you, correct it, ask me to delete it or withdraw your consent, as recognized by Colombia's personal data protection law (Law 1581 of 2012).

6. Children

This site is not aimed at children under 13 and I don't knowingly keep data from children.

7. Changes

If I change anything in this policy, I'll publish the new version here with its update date.
